Acupuncturist Chris embarked on his 4 years of degree-level training after experiencing fantastic personal results on a persistent knee injury that other treatments were unable to improve.
His training built on his deep-rooted interest in Chinese martial arts (White Eyebrow Kung Fu) which introduced him to Eastern philosophy and concepts around health and wellbeing, all of which continue to fascinate and inspire him through the results and benefits he sees in his patients.
Chris knows that Chinese medicine can have a fundamental role in helping and supporting the treatment of pain and all sports injuries, as well as many other chronic and long-term conditions. He has run a clinic in Westerham for 11 years, treating patients with a wide range of needs and is a founder member of the treatment team at New Ash Green Rugby Football Club Dartford where he treats many acute and chronic injuries.
As well as Acupuncture, Chris is qualified to use Tui Na Medical Massage for patients who want to avoid the needles (!) as well using it as a complementary support to Acupuncture.
He also teaches Qi Gong exercise as an effective way to support mind and body health and wellbeing as well as teaching Pak Mei Kung Fu.
Chris is delighted to be part of the Limpsfield Fitness team and is always happy to chat if you have questions about whether a Chinese approach to treatment might help you. No obligation!
